Finance Director

Peter joined Iona in 2017 as Director of Operations. He has previously worked as a  regulator in the environmental sector and for the last twenty five years as a senior  manager for several waste management  and recycling  businesses.

Peter has extensive experience in the design, build, operation and maintenance of  solid waste treatment, resource recovery and renewable energy facilities. In addition to  this he has previously led a successful bid team, securing numerous supply contracts to  facilities under  his management. Peter will oversee all operational elements of Iona’s deployed assets whilst also  heading-up the Group’s management services provider, Tean Management Services.

Rebecca joined the business in July 2016 and supports the IMS sites and wider Iona portfolio on all compliance matters. 

A Chartered Waste Manger, she comes from an operational waste background with many years of experience working in the public and private sector.

Richard provides key service and maintenance support to the Iona assets ensuring that the plants maximise utilisation.  Rich heads up the parts supply team and maintains a large volume of critical spare parts for our own assets and customers that need support.  He joined the business in May 2016 as Health and Safety Manager, progressing to an Asset Support role.  He has worked in the waste water and AD industry for the last 13 years and has a vast knowledge of multiple technologies.

As Head of Farming, Bill works with the site teams and independent operators to ensure the best quality feedstock is available.  Bill is an experienced farmer with a wealth of AD experience and crop suitability.  He supports the Advantage sites and wider portfolio, maximizing feedstock opportunities.

Holly joined Iona Management Services in 2020 as an Asset Performance & Maintenance Co-Ordinator to work alongside and support the Asset & Performance Manager to ensure that all critical spare enquiries are dealt with swiftly and efficiently.

Prior to joining IMS, Holly used to work for Advantage Biogas Ltd in 2017 as an administration Assistance supporting the finance team. She then went on to work for a funeral director acting as their funeral arranger for two years.

Laura is the Finance Director for Iona Management Services and is based in the York office alongside a small team. Laura oversees the day-to-day financial management of IMS and also supports six of the AD plants from a financial and reporting perspective.  

Laura joined the company in April 2019, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge gained across several industries. Laura has a first-class degree from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and qualified as an ACA chartered accountant with PwC in 2008.
